A delicious approach to an oaked chardonnay! Normally, I stick toward the unoaked chardonnays, being that I am sometimes sick of biting into an oak tree. Well, I needed a change of pace and this wine was a perfect pace changer! As though I were drinking birthday cake batter, this wine had intense flavors of, believe it or not, Golden Grahams. Needless to say, the wine was wonderful. The food I would match this up with, believe it or not, stuffed tortellini with a creamy marinara. Yes, I am suggesting a white with a red sauce....get over it and try it. I think that you will find out that I am right. In your face Chef Boyardee!

Not quite sure how I stumbled upon this site ... but good to see others under 25 who love their wine :)
I and a group of like-minded individuals ranging from 20-30 have a tasting group here in Toronto. If you guys are ever up in the frozen North, we'd love to have you sitting in on a tasting with us! You can reach me at tarunrihal@hotmail.com! It's tough to find others our age who are interested in something other than cheap six-packs or Boone's Farm ;)
Keep up the good work. :)
