8 3/4 Screwcaps
This is a fantastic find! Rich, full-bodied monastrell from Yecla (near the Eastern Coast of Spain, between Cartagena and Valencia) proves to be a resounding champion for producing exceptional wine for an amazing value. It is tough to think that not too long ago, this as well as the adjacent Jumilla region only produced insipid jug wine. Did I say well priced? How does the tune of $8.00 sound? An everyday wine that can take on $50 bottle wines and hold its own.
Jammy currant and blackberries are predominant on the nose and follows through on the palate with a very nice lasting finish. Buy this wine as soon as you can, but when you open it, let it breathe for about 20 minutes. Trust me, it's worth it.
